Post: Agriculture Trainer (Fisheries Extension) (Grade K)

Salary: Within the Grade K salary scale segment

Location: Neno Multi-Skills Centre

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should be in possession of a Diploma in either Fisheries, Aquaculture, Agriculture or Agricultural Extension obtained from recognised institutions.

DUTIES

Provide technical support to trainees and farmers in aquaculture;
plan and undertake extension programmes,
disseminate research results to communities,
develop extension messages for targeted fishing communities, etc.

NOTE:

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should be in possession of a Diploma in either Animal Husbandry, Agriculture or Agricultural Extension obtained from recognised institutions.

DUTIES

Provide technical support to trainees and farmers in livestock development;
conduct, coordinate and implement livestock health activities at the centre;
conduct diagnosis treatments and vaccination campaign for livestock diseases: assist in the development of animal disease control polices, etc.
