QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be in possession of an MSCE certificate with a credit in English and Mathematics.

DUTIES:

Receiving and processing applications for registration of business names and incorporation of Limited Companies.
Receiving and processing applications for registration of political parties and trustees’ Incorporation
Receiving and processing applications for registration of patents, trademarks and industrial designs.
Maintaining registers and indexes.
Receiving and recording documents from clients.
Checking documents prior to stamping.
Advising management on under assessed documents.
Filling official documents.

HR AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Function

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

providing administrative support for the HR department,
assisting with the day to day operations of the HR functions and duties and
providing clerical and administrative support to HR executives and senior management.
The candidate will also assist with the hiring process,
scheduling new employee orientations and training,
and entering of a high volume of employment records into our HR database.

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience as an HR/ Administrative Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
Solid literacy and experience of MS Office
Hands on experience with an HRIS or FIRMS
Basic knowledge of labour laws
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management/Business Administration or equivalent.

LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Laboratory Assistant

FUNCTION

Under the direction of the Head of Science, the Laboratory Assistant will provide technical support to the School’s science faculty in a range of areas including:

preparation of laboratory equipment and materials for science classes,
employing safe work practices in the science laboratory,
safe storage and disposal of chemicals and biological residues,
safe storage of laboratory equipment and materials,
and specialist cleaning of laboratory equipment and laboratory preparation.

REQUIREMENTS

Ability to communicate well with teachers, students and other Laboratory staff
Ability to work closely with the Head of Science to identify and prioritize daily, weekly and per Term tasks
Must have the scientific knowledge and practical skills to perform the duties of the position
Experience in use, handling, storage and basic maintenance of general laboratory apparatus
Minimum qualification of a Diploma of Applied Science (or equivalent). Degree in Chemistry/ Biology or related subject desirable
First aid qualification required to perform emergency first aid
Understanding of Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety and Child Protection.
