Qualifications
Diploma in Purchasing or Administration Management,
3 yrs relevant experience working as a Procurement Office in an NGO,
Good knowledge of Administrative systems and practice, policies and procedures,
Ability to work with minimum supervision,
Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain an up to date procurement status report and share with budget holders on a regular basis,
Line manage the procurement assistant and storekeeper,
Liaise with the Dublin head office regarding all international orders and manage all import requirements,
Maintain professional relationships with all suppliers and ensure all quotations are received and evaluated in line with policy,
Efficiently manage all documentation and paper trails in the Concern procurement system,
Lead the routine pre-qualification of suppliers exercises and ensure that all purchased items are of the required quality and specifications,
Lead the implementation of all procurement activities within Concern Worldwide Malawi and ensure that all procurements are carried out in line with the Internal Procurement Guidelines
To manage all procurement related activities required by Concern Worldwide, ensuring that all purchasing is in line with Concerns procedure,
This is a challenging role for a person with broad purchasing experience and motivated to expand their experience and expertise
