We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to join our fast-paced team. As Account Executive you are responsible for the day assistance in running key accounts, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
You will work on multiple projects that are diverse in nature and multi-disciplined. Client interaction will be expected from day one.
The Account Executive role is pivotal to the team to ensure projects run efficiently, on time and on budget. Communication, upwards management and proactivity are key for this role. Taking the initiative to get tasks done without being asked will see the successful applicant excel in this busy but rewarding role.
Responsibilities will include:
Business development, producing proposals to clients for new business
Supporting the operations team in delivery of activations
Building comprehensive understanding of businesses and their key competitors, monitoring market news and developing a monthly newsletter
Overseeing the day to day running of the accounts
Responsible for elements of project delivery according to agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
Provides day-to-day client contact, managing the relationship and expectations in accordance with agency philosophy
Communicating with and providing all relevant job information to team members in a timely manner
Recording meeting and call notes, capturing context, agreed actions, ownership and due dates and distributing to relevant parties
Monitoring and driving work through the agency, producing and maintaining status reports and using the reports as working documents to ensure progress against actions
Liaising with client, agency and third party suppliers, ensuring clear communications and necessary paperwork is in place to protect the agency and client
Compiling budgets and managing to project end, including reconciliation process in line with agency standards
Assisting in development of client / internal presentations and proposals
Providing general support (project and admin) to account team, including travel bookings and meeting logistics
Required Experience
Basic understanding of role of experiential, shopper and B2B marketing in the broader marketing mix
Interest in technology and its role in driving business success and audience experiences
Strong organisation and time management skills
Ability to juggle a number of projects and tasks simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and agency colleagues
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Strong IT skills including Excel & PowerPoint
Polished, professional demeanor, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
Experience of working on events would be useful, but not essential
Creative background useful, but not essential
A marketing degree would be an added advantage
