G4S Malawi seeks to appoint a Head of Electronic Security Solutions to manage the technical function for the business unit and provide a comprehensive service to customers, which will involve the installation, maintenance and upgrading of technology solutions.

Key Challenges

Develop, implement and manage the G4S security technology strategy/ policy and projects
Manage outsource partners
Manage development activities to support security technology strategy
Manage operational provision of security technology services including CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.
Manage the budget/expenses for the Technical Department
Staff management and development.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

Successful completion of High School and a Relevant IT Degree or Diploma or equivalent
3+ years management experience in an IT / security technology role
Strong Business development and project management experience
Knowledge of security technology trends and best practices
Knowledge of security hardware and software installation requirements (alarms, CCTV, access control) etc
Computer literate. Proficiency in MS Office, Google products
Valid Driver’s licence is advantageous.

ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING)

 Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Senior Assistant Finance Officer, the Assistant Finance Officer will lead in the planning, executing and reporting on operational accounting transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions and that funds are spent according to budget.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing draft management accounts and financial statements
Consolidating departmental budgets

Authorizing payment claims and vouchers
Recommending disposal of obsolete fixed assets
