| Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM) is an indigenous, non-governmental organization providing youth friendly sexual and reproductive health rights, information and services. Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM) compliments the government of Malawi in improving the health status of all people in Malawi. FPAM’s vision is Malawian society with access to quality and comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information and services.
FPAM is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:
M&E Coordinator
The position will be responsible for establishing and managing a robust monitoring, research and evaluation system with well-defined results, milestones and targets for the implementation of projects. The position reports to the Director of Programs.
Main Responsibilities
Establishing and managing a performance monitoring framework with clear-cut goals, outcomes, outputs, inputs, processes, indicators, data needs and sources, and reporting formats and frequency, for effective monitoring, reporting and updating progress of programs.
Ensure results of monitoring and evaluation are used to improve projects , for program planning and decision making
Ensure programme efficiency and effectiveness as per stated goals, objectives and targets of projects using the outcomes of monitoring and evaluation
Develop and implement a mechanism for reporting on qualitative indicators
Document and disseminate achievements, lessons learned and promising/best practices
Participate in FPAM’s resource mobilization drive
Coordinate organizational knowledge management activities and provide feedback/support to districts.
Qualifications
Degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Project Management
Candidates with Master’s Degree will have an added advantage
At least five years of progressively responsible experience in monitoring evaluation, and research in the public or private sector, preferably related to health.
Demonstrated experience in project planning, monitoring and evaluation in a donor funded project is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with strong organizational ability; must be able to obtain, analyse and evaluate a variety of information; organize, interpret and present it in meaningful oral or written form for varied audiences and provide solid analysis leading to sound decision-making.
Excellent interpersonal and team working skills and a high degree of computer literacy.
