| Reporting to the Human Resources Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for providing necessary service and support for Human Resources solutions to support effective relationships between Human Resources Department and Business Units
Key Result Areas:
Support employee engagement processes at the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meetings, enabling effective negotiation and consultation in regard to a range of staffing matters.
Responsibility for the annual Staff Survey, analyzing data, benchmarking year on year and production of an Action Plan to address any areas of concern for SLT approval.
Assist with the education of line management with regard to Labour Relations legislation and employees relations practices
Support and facilitate the identification of current and future learning capabilities for roles to enable the development of role based training curricula.
Facilitate the assessment of competency levels and gap analysis and appropriate L&D solutions.
Responsible for end-to-end performance management process, coaching and upskilling line managers on the same and Identify performance gaps (commitment, competence, process) and recommend appropriate solutions.
Supports line managers in implementing and monitoring staff performance by guiding performance discussions and the use of performance management tools.
Trigger, support and enable employee lifecycle events: recruiting (assessment and selection), training programmes, managing new joiners’ induction programs, facilitating employee performance assessment and reward, disciplinary action and industrial relations advice.
Assist with the annual budgeting process and manpower planning.
Management of HR shared services and HR Helpdesk; Medical Aid, Group Life, Group Personal Accident, Staff loans, third party contractor management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
A Degree qualification in Business Administration or Human Resources.
At least 4 years generalist HR experience.
Know how to access and interpret human resources policies/procedures/labour legislations and practices
Exposure to implementation of HR plans and delivery of Employee Lifecycle related products and services
Knowledge of SAGE VIP HCM system, Learning Management system and Performance Management system.
