| Malawi Fertilizer Company Limited wishes to recruit a suitably qualified person to fill the vacant position of Human Resources Manager tenable at their Head Office in Central Region of Malawi.
The person will be required to perform the following duties amongst others:
Ensures that the company has professional first class recruitment processes, selection techniques and properly trained interviewers to ensure that the best talent is recruited and that the right selection decisions are made in line with actual and future company needs,
Ensures that all key managers and employees have appropriate training & development plans addressing actual and future organisational needs in order to ensure the growth of world class talent from within.
Plans, implements, monitors and co-ordinates training and development plans.
Analyses recommends and implements competitive remuneration packages, policies and procedures that are performance oriented in order to ensure that at all times remuneration constitutes a competitive advantage in terms of attracting and retaining top quality managers and employees.
Initiates, co-ordinates, updates and monitors all processes that are linked with performance management, career and succession planning in order to ascertain that all employees are employed with the appropriate skills in the right place at the right time.
Initiates, advises, co-ordinates and monitor the job description and job evaluation process in order to ensure an updated reflection of the company’s distribution of key accountabilities.
Develops, improves, and maintains effective, efficient and up to date personnel administration systems and procedures in order to guarantee the smooth running of the basic personnel activities.
Builds and develops effective employee and industrial relations through clear, open and structured communication and involvement mechanisms in order to encourage identification with the company, its mission, goals and objectives.
Challenges and reviews constantly organisation structures, culture, manning and out-sourcing activities in order to achieve greater people productivity.
Minimum Qualifications and Person Specifications
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, a Professional Qualification or Association.
5 years in a senior. management position within the function.
Computer literate in Microsoft packages.
Must be pro-active and analytical.
Must have Industrial Relations.
Must have good negotiation skills.
