 An opportunity has arisen at Hillview International School for a Head of Informatics, Learning Technology and Communications (HolLTC).

The role incorporates six sets of responsibilities:

Computer Science Teacher and Head of Computing Curriculum
Electronics, and Design and Technology Teacher
Webmaster and Social Media Manager
Marketing Communications Manager
Virtual Learning Environment Manager
ICT and Network Manager
Proficient English speaker.
Educated to degree level in Computing or Computer Science.
Educated to degree level in a Marketing-related subject or a Level 6 or 7 award from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
PGCE-qualified or a commitment to achieving a PGCE during the contract.
Practical experience of developing and managing school websites using WordPress.
Practical experience of managing professional social media accounts for businesses and education.
Experience working in both education and private business sectors.
Experience teaching in a British curriculum high school or college.
Experience of managing people and budgets.
Experience of managing pay-per-click advertising campaigns in Google and Facebook.
Experience of delivering training to adults.
Experience working in a learning technology role.
Experience teaching a blended learning programme.
Excellent skills in Windows, Mac, Unix and Linux based operating systems.
Practical knowledge of the Java and Python 3 programming languages.
Knowledge and experience of visual programming with Scratch 2.
Expertise in Photoshop, The GIMP and desktop publishing software.
Familiarity with PCs, Macs, iPads and Raspberry Pi computers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Expert understanding of cloud-based technologies including email and online file sharing.

Sports facilities are good and include 2 extensive field areas, a 25m swimming pool, cricket nets and hard-court tennis courts (currently being upgraded with a basketball facility). BAYLOR WOMEN'S HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER

Summary:

The Baylor Women’s Health Program Manager will be responsible for the overall clinical, educational, logistical and administrative operations of reproductive health services and programs conducted by the Baylor Global Women’s Health Program. These include programs and services conducted in coordination with Baylor College of Medicine-Children’s Foundation Malawi and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. These programs will be conducted at the Baylor College of Medicine Center of Excellence in Lilongwe and other health facilities across Malawi

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of hands on experience in nurse midwifery in Malawi and high-risk pregnancies, and should have an unrestricted license in nursing in Malawi.
A Masters level education is preferable.
He/she will also have program management skills and leadership experience in a supervisory role.
Experience with data collection and abstraction from clinical records is desirable.
Public health related qualifications and previous project management experience are added advantages.
ART Provider certification is an added advantage.

Skills:

Experience in maternal and newborn nursing, particularly on the Labor Ward.
Experience in a clinical leadership position is desirable.
Experience in BEmONC and CEmONC
Experience in providing comprehensive antenatal care and family planning
Knowledge of identification and referral of high risk pregnancies
Advanced knowledge/experience of HIV and PMTCT management
Ability to work as a highly cooperative member of a team in the implementation of the Baylor Global Women’s Health Program.
Ability to establish and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with nursing and medical leadership in clinics, hospitals and community health centers.
Strong organizational skills and the capacity to set goals and meet deadlines
Strong administrative skills, including the ability to record minutes, schedule meetings, set action plans, and coordinate schedules with health care professionals.
Ability to demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and the ability to motivate a wide range of people
Sensitivity to issues of cultural diversity
Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to identify deficiencies in program operations and lead the planning process for implementation of needed changes
Ability to create, monitor, and forecast program and organizational operating budgets and activities as needed
Ability to assist in a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework, including qualitative and quantitative indicators
Excellent verbal interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to utilize word processing and spreadsheet computer applications
Ability to lead by example utilizing the highest ethical, moral, and professional standards of Baylor College of Medicine and the Ministry of Health.
